2015 Audubon Great Backyard Bird Count
The bird count took place from Friday February 13 to Monday February 16.
Here are pictures taken during the weekend of many of the species we saw. A few that did not pose for pictures, but that we did see, were:
- Turkey Vulture
- Black Vulture
- Hairy Woodpecker
- American Goldfinch
- Song Sparrow
- Northern Mockingbird
On Friday the weather was clear and sunny, but cold. On Monday it snowed steadily the whole day and we received around 8 inches of snow by the time it stopped.
